Dolores Terry is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaches Federation. Dolores Terry has a passion for influencing young adults all over the country by helping them develop the skills needed to flourish.
Dolores offers tangible tools and strategies to overcome everyday obstacles and recognize one’s potential, thus allowing her clients to become leaders within their own lives. She utilizes the research and science of Positive Psychology, Emotional Intelligence and Resilience interventions which can produce maximum results. Her experience helps individuals clearly understand their natural strengths so they “design their future”.
All this leads her clients to a more successful, enriching college and post college experience with critical life skills that propel them into their future personal and professional lives. She often has the unique opportunity to work with parents to more effectively support their sons and daughters during this stage of their lives.
Prior to becoming a coach, Dolores spent over two decades as a senior corporate leader and influencer. She understands how strong leadership skills can have a positive impact on an individual’s life and career.
Dolores strongly believes a coach provides the foundation for anyone, especially young adults, to understand their values, strengths, and passions – then leverage that knowledge to build greater personal, academic, and professional success. With heart, honesty, and humor, Dolores breaks through the barriers and develops meaningful relationships with people of all ages.
Dolores lives in Fairfax City with her husband and has two grown daughters.
